Inner Self

In reference to Aristotle’s observation that “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom,” this body of work originates in an ongoing inquiry into self-understanding, initiated during the artist’s final year at the University of Arts and Design.

The series consists of portraits guided by intuition rather than intention. Color becomes a language of emotion, allowing inner states to surface without conscious control. Each work is an inward exploration, where the act of painting serves as release, discovery, and healing. Though the process remains open-ended, each piece stands as an independent articulation, even when similar emotions reappear.
